After the great success of last year, returns AmstelveenBeach Back this summer. From Saturday, June 14 to Tuesday, June 24 The Town Square transforms into a tropical sports paradise. For ten days, sports enthusiasts, businesses, families, and recreational visitors can enjoy beach sports, clinics, tournaments and free sports.
Spectacular opening & first tournaments
The kick-off is on Saturday, June 14 with a festive opening by Alderman for Sport Herbert Raat. This is followed by a unique beach volleyball match between the Municipal Executive and the management team of AmstelveenSport. Throughout the day there are clinics and the TeamNL SportExperience. Get acquainted with various sports such as beach pickleball, beach rugby, and beach korfball, and participate in the parent-child beach volleyball tournament.
The first major tournament also starts: the Street Beach Volleyball Championship. On Sunday, June 15, Beach Rugby central, followed by the Footvolley Future & Legends Cup, where both youth teams (Future Cup) and senior teams (Legends Cup) are in action. Elite sport and grassroots sport go hand in hand
AmstelveenBeach offers tournaments for all levels. Businesses and the hospitality industry compete on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17 during the popular corporate and hospitality tournament. On Thursday, June 19, it returns municipal tournament back and on Friday, June 20, it is time for the Friday Beach Tournament 4x4, made possible by Domino's Pizza. A pleasant mix of sport and relaxation!
Elite Sports Weekend: Eredivisie Beach & Kids Festival
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June the absolute top of Dutch beach volleyball will be in action during Eredivisie Beach Amstelveen. Here the best teams compete for the win, a must-see for sports enthusiasts.
For the youngest visitors, there is the Kids Festival, with inflatable structures, games, and beach fun. The perfect combination of top-level sport and fun.
Free sports for everyone
During the day, schools and sports clubs are introduced to various beach sports. But even outside of the tournaments, there is plenty of room for free sports. At various times during the week, the beach is accessible to everyone: alone, with friends or family.
